To begin with, I am a broadcast journalism major at the University of Missouri.
Journalism isn’t just my focus of study for the past four years — it’s my passion. As a kid, I was always the child who asked questions and wanted to know everything about everyone. It hasn’t changed, but my tactics are more refined than walking up to a stranger and annoying them with kid questions. I love knowing someone’s story and being able to tell it to others.
Journalists are curious about everything. I’m always listening. There are stories everywhere and my goal is to tell those stories.
Currently, I am a producer for KOMU 8 News in Columbia. I try to bring the most up-to-date news to my viewers in Mid-Missouri via on-air, online, and on social media.
